Here is Jessica dressed up as a Pirate girl. I go tthis costume at Spotlight last month for like $5 I think it was. She just loves it!!!!! I did this LO at Sarah's on Saturday morning. I am really happy with the end result.
I do have some SENSATIONAL news to share with you all. I wrote into Scarpbooking Memories a while ago for the Real People Real Stories feature they run. I had forgotten about it as well as we all so often do, I got home from my In Laws yesterday to find an email from Joanna T @ Scrapbooking Memories....Guess who is going to have her story published? Yep that is right ME!!! They have chosen my Connection LO to be published along with the article. I am still walking on cloud 9!!!! I can not wait to find out which magazine it will be in.
Other news....hmmm not much. When at my In Laws yesterday my MIL gave me a heap of old & I mean OLD photos for me to scrap. I have been to Harvey Norman's today & had a few photos scanned & restored. I am itching to scrap them. I also was given free reign to go through her button stash. I have buttons here from the early 1900's as well as buttons off her dad's Police Uniform. I am in totaly shock & awe at the treasures I left there with. I have decided to scrap an album of these pictures fro my MIL's birthday or as her Christmas gift. Something of her mum & dad who are no longer with us.
Now I know some people have been a tad shocked to find my old blog has been removed & when you click on my profile it does not show you links to this blog...there is a good reason for this. Due to the way things turned out over at that other place I no longer wish to have my name or anything of mine associated with that site or certain individuals there. So I am sorry to say this means my profile is showing the way it does. I wish nobody ill harm or will..I just wish my life to be free from the turmoil & anxiety those brought to it.
Now I better get my finger out as I have my entry for Round 1 over at Embellished Idol to finish before the 9am deadline tomorrow.
