Sunday Bloody Sunday!

As the end of another week rolls on past I am left to wonder jsut why we bother to count the days, weeks & months that pass us by. I mean seriously...it all passes in a blur much of the time unless you manage to capture those special moments in your life. Like the one where a child hugs a parents with no ulterior motive other then to hug their parent out of love & innocence.

We spent our weekend down at my parents place for the Friday night/ Saturday. It was lovely. My parents celebrate 34 years of marriage this year...an awesome accomplishment in this day & age. I also reconciled with my brother. He has been clean for 2 years now. So the family has started the healing process together. He is also engaged to a lovely girl Lauren & has a little angel Ivy Rose as well as Lauren's little boy Kody. It was truly gorgeous to spend the day with my brother & know he is finally the man we all had hoped for years he would become. Miss Ivy Master Kody Ivy & Kody

I wanted to get the kids Christmas photo shoot done this weekend but that didnt happen either. Am hoping to do it tomorrow afternoon....fingers crossed.

In other news...this week's sketch from CIS Sketch Blog was fabulous to work with. The ever lovely Ali worked wonders with this sketch she submitted. Loved it as it was a beautiful way to showcase multiple pictures without a double LO.

Here is my spin on it: These are photo's from our recent trip to Star City with friend's Claudia & David. We were on a harbour cruise when these pics were taken. I loved the way the sketch used multi pics without being over crowded or too busy. Super work Ali.
