Christmas Already!

Yep thats right...its Christmas already! I know..slack slack blogger...no update since December 1. I have a good reason as to why. I am now without a computer!!! It died!!! I have been having to share my hubby's pc & we all know that it makes life so much harder without my own space. I lost ALL photos data, emails, documents etc...EVERYTHING! I have been in mourning ever since.....my poor pc!

It has been a very busy year in many ways for me. Family wise I have been swamped with a son being diagnosed with BiPolar, Jut & I have had a bumpy year for our marriage. Jess has grown up so much this year! No longer a baby, just a little girl in all ways. Rebekkah has become a young lady this year...very much into appearance & looking after herself.

Scrapping wise this year has been HUGE! I made it onto not 1 but 3 Design Teams, taught at a retreat, had a LO published in E-zines as well as in SM. Next year is going to be bigger & better..a few things in the pipeline at this stage. Exciting stuff too!

Speaking of Design Teams......My last LO's for the year for CIS Sketch Blog need to be uploaded here...will do a LO share as well as a pic share at the end.

I have been reflecting over the last week or so on just how things have turned out a year down the track. I have said good bye to a friendship that I cherished & thought the other person felt the same way...it seemed it was not to be. I was devastated for a while over the lossbut as time has gone on I have come to realise that the Reason,Seasons & Lifetime rule applies here. This person was obviously sent to me as a friend for a reason. I have reflected & learnt what the reason was & moved on. It still aches occassionally....especially when I want to share something with that person.

These two LO's are from December 6. The ever talented Julie D designed the sketch. I really enjoyed this one...easy to manipulate too.

This is the December 13 sketch. Designed by the ever talented Karen. Loved the simplicity to this one too. I am loving the Sketch Blog. Especially considering I decided to make an album for my brother & his family for Christmas....after the last few weeks of non stop scrapping...I am officially worn out LMAO. There is no journalling as it is a very private lot I didnt want to share.

These two LO's were done form our Christmas photo shoot! I loved these two pics so much! Loved how they came together as well.

This is Rebekkah on the way to the Year 6 Farewell dinner a couple of weeks ago...looking ever so grown up!

This is a photo I took after a storm here. It was really like a ray of sunshine in a turbulent life. It really brought me peace snapping the pictures of it.

Anyway, I better go...presents to wrap, bags to pack...last minute Chrissie stuff.
