My Padded Room: Home From A FABULOUS Weekend!

Ever been away for a weekend to catch up with a mate & spent ALL night talking, laughing & drinking coffee? Only crawling into bed as the sun comes up? You have? Good now I dont feel so silly LOL. Who am I kissing, I dont feel silly for doing that...it was a very welcome addition to the weekend.

Yes we headed up to Forster to catch up with my dearest friend in the whole world, Frances. Even though we have not seen each other for 12 months or there abouts & not spoken either due to life getting in the way, it was like I only saw her last week. We laughed, talked & joked around just like always. Man I so needed that! Then again, I need her in my life. *gets mushy for a moment* You know that whole soul mate thing we all go on about? We I have always believe we have more then one in our lives. I am blessed enough to have married one & have another as my bestie., ya know the sister destiny forget to deliver LOL. We click & always have & will. Even after the most trying year our friendship has ever faced, we still have that closeness. So on the off chance she happens by the blog...LOVE YA hun!

Anyway, what else did we do? Tried to recover all weekend LOL. No alcohol just lots of talking & I was like a smashed crab all weekend. We took the kids to the beach on Sunday, awesome time watching them all play together again. Funny as we watched the kids Frances remarked that even after all these years, the kids still pair off with the other that is their age match. Its a nice feelign of family & contentment I got from watching them all on that beach. A feeling of coming home I guess. I managed to snap 422 photos on the beach. Tonnes of pics of the kids all playing in the surf, the sand & just goofing off in general. Even managed to work out the video function on my camera & took a couple of those...especially of Jimmy being a goose...LMAO he is a card.

On our journey home, we got as far as Raymond Terrace, before we had issues...the bloody shock mount under the car snapped! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I near jumped out of the car for all the noise it was making as we came home. Needless to say I wont be going very far until it gets fixed.

Now onto CIS news. Do not forget there is a CYBER CROP on there this weekend, starting 7pm Friday 11th January...so please be there to show some support to our new owner, ALLY!
