Where OH Where Have I Been?

In the land on no internet...& in Melbourne!!! YAY

Thats right I have been down to Melbourne to catch up with the gorgeous girls over at SB.COM. More about that shortly.
Ok since my last update much has happened. I taught at the retreat at Peta's place. Had a fabulous time. Lots of laughs were had by all...here are the mini albums I taught there:

Kaiser Craft Crown Album. Princess Bek. I used the yummy Two Scoops Collection from Basic Grey for this one.

Kaiser Craft Scalloped Rectangle Album. I used the gorgeous girly Making Memories Noteworthy Range.

Once I got home from the retreat it was all systems go to move house the Monday morning. We signed our new lease at 9:30am. We were so happy that the day was finally here but at the same time we knew we would be working our butts off getting it all done. We worked until late, moving, loading, unpacking & most of all moving some more. The house is finally starting to look normal....which translates to less boxes cluttering up the place LOL

I also went to Melbourne last Friday to spend a glorious 3 days with some girls I have been friends with for a while now. In the lead up to the weekend I was nervous, scared & almost didnt want to go at all! These were people I had been chatting to for 2 years or so & here we were finally meeting. Friday dawned bright & early for me. Up at 4am to have a fast shower & get in the car for the drive to Newcastle Airport.
I was scared to get into that plane..but I managed it & WOW what a rush!

This pic I got above the rain here at home is just so serene. Brings me peace & as Jut said, really makes you believe in heaven!

The girls are jsut awesome. There was not a moment of awkwardness with any of us. I was truly a sensational weekend filled with tonnes of laughter...a few tears for various reasons, but overall....a weekend I will remember always.

Friday we spent wondering the markets & then heading up to Lygon Street for dinner. DIVINE food. We even had the waiter sing us a song in Italian, not that we knew what he said LOL. It added to the atmosphere perfectly. After dinner we headed back to the apartment...the girls drank a bit & we laughed plenty. All crawling into bed reasonably early as we all had early starts. Poor Julie had been on the go for 48 hours by this stage.

We went down to St Kilda on the Saturday, had some buff construction workers (ROFLMAO) take the lesbian photo (more laughter).

Steph: Our adopted American girl. So amazing. Giggles all the time...really is gorgeous both inside & out. Our coffee genius!

Tegan: So quiet....but oh so funny. A gem of a person to know & an honour to call her friend.

Tracey: Ok I have to explain this photo: Here we are at St Kilda sitting on the edge of the pier...a young guy jumped in the water just up from us & created this huge spash....I swear if he has wet Trace she would have dived in to get him LMAO. This girl really is all heart. She wears it boldly & proudly on her sleeve & we all love her.

Kylie: Gorgeous Kylie...girl you are so tall!!! I am still stunned at the heights of your brothers. Man they are huge! You are one of a kind funny. You have the most perfect hubby...( I still think he is a figment of the imagination though lmao)

Julie: When I saw you at the baggage claim I felt like I was meeting a friend who I had known for years. Your as warm as the sun in summer. Your gorgeous spirit shines through everytime. There are a thousand stories from our weekend together & I am still pinching myself for meeting you all. I loved every single second of it! Even the red face I had Sunday morning from my snoring...OMG Jut taped me again! How loud was i? *hides head* I can not wait for the next one. We will have to head to St Kilda again for updates photos next year....omg I want to be there again. I miss you all...I cans till hear you all laughing in my head.

I can still Tracey getting excited over the Carlton footy team...me looking & thinking ' Who are they?' LOL The flight home I spent dozing...smiling to myself at the gorgeous memories I will hold dear.

Girls, I love you all dearly...you are all such a huge part of my life...not just my online life but now my real life. I so cant wait for next year...to see you all again. Dont forget if ever any of you are in this area...drop in..I would love to have you here.
