Easter Hat Parade

Today was the Easter Hat Parade at the girls schools. I was up late last night making the girls hats. After struggling for a functional yet non cylindrical design I found one on this website. At the same time as making these bonnets I was chatting to Liz via email.... She is one amazing friend. Always there should I ever need her for anything....thanks Liz xoxoox

Anyway, back to the bonnets/hats. I sat & painted, using some Prima flowers in bright pink, yellow & blue *Yes I used my good flowers!!* Adding some bling flowers & gems as the flower centres...tieing some ribbon on & VOILA! 2 Easter Bonnets.

Bek's last Easter Hat Parade!

Jessica's First Easter Hat Parade!!The lady on the right is Bek's teacher Mel....I am proud to be able to call her friend. We became friends when she taught Bek in Year 2....We have spent many a night talking & drinking...omg can she drink! The lady on the left is an Exchange Teacher from Indiana USA named Kiley. She is truly lovely & the kids all love her! Kiley is at the school for 8 weeks before heading back home..she will be missed.

The top of the bonnets. I also tied some glittered polystyrene (sp?) eggs to the girls hair ties.

As you can see I have been playing with the photos in Photoshop CS3! Now if only I can learn to use it for digital scrapping LOL Love the girly brushes & the touch of that something different the brushes can give a photo.

Not much else to report...still no scrapping then again I am a bit in love with this lap top...I am spending so much time playing on it....games, photoshop, web hopping. I so need to ge a life LOL..anyone know where I can get one...cheap mind you!

For those of you who are home this weekend, I am teaching at a CC over at Memories & More, lots of things planned to keep everyone busy. Hope to see you there....

For now I am off to vege a little more with my hubby.
