As It Gets Colder

My feet get more numb as the days pass LOL. I swear somedays they could be blue inside my socks! Along with the colder weather comes all the yummy recipes for warm filling foods that are one of the joys of this time of year. I love having the slow cooker on all day & smelling dinner simmering away for hours on end....the down side...I hang out of the cupboard LOL

Not much has been happening this week...I have been keeping a fairly low profile all around...just been focussing on things here at home. Not that anything is going wrong or anything as such but I think I needed a break from this little box. I even managed to be in bed sleeping well before 10:30pm last night ..shock to the system!

CIS Sketch Blog Sketch this week is from the ever gorgeous Ally!

Classes have slowed down again...maybe the school holidays really threw a spanner in the works who knows....I will just have to keep at it.

This week saw the start of the DT Competition over at Mystical Scrapbooks, the first week's challenge was a double whammy. Design a sketch & do a sample LO for it...that ws the hardest part...I just kept drawing a mental blank..until last night when I sat & didnt move until I had pushed pps around for a couple of hours & was finally happy with the result. Then I hand drew the sketch before crawling into bed. I was beat.

Last weekend was the CC over at Scrap Boutique...some fabbo challenges were thrown out for the girls to do & I must admit they really turned up the heat.

Meanwhile over at Bon's Scraps there has been the week long CC..I really have to pull my finger out & get these done this weekend LOL. There was also the monthly comp using the kit...gorgeous kits too! I cheated a little & combined Krissy's challenge for the CC with this monthly comp...using the it as it was perfect for the photo of Jess & her Aunty Kristy. Dual purpose scrapping..gotta love it LOL.

Not much else to update with....I am off to the girls school today to grab some photos of the HUGE raffle prizes for one of the talented students who has been chosen as part of the Hunter Woodwind Band to travel over the Europe....such an awesome achievement & the raffle is to raise money for the travelling costs...such a worthwhile cause & the prizes are to die for...BTW when you see the photos later...the hat/bag/glove set is mine LOL I love it & I know I dont wear hats but I would make an exception for this one LOL.

Anyway time to get a rocket into these girls. Thanks for those who have been dropping by....

OH I almost forgot! I got a gorgeous belated birthday gift from Maria over at Kitchen Sink Stamps . Stunning stamps & I so cant wait to play with them Maria...thank you so very much!!!
