FUNDRAISING TIME!

You may have noticed I have mentioned a very talented young man at the girls school who is off to Europe in previous posts. Well this young man's name is James Edge. He is an extremely talented drummer & has represented the school for a number of years now as the drummer of the school's concert band. I still remember watching him play & you could not see him over the drum kit lol. Now this very talented young man is off to represent not just Maitland Public School but Australia later this year over in Paris, Sazburg & Vienna. This raffle is to help contribute to the travel costs associated with this trip. The prizes have been generously donated by local businesses around Maitland. Not all the prizes are photographed at the stage as I know one of them is still being built.

So there prizes are:

A gorgeous handbag, hat, gloves, scarf & necklace donated from La Belle Boutique in High Street Maitland. Absolutely stunning prize & one I wouldn't mind owning LOL

There is also a gorgeous clay scultured mask by the artist Krysten Walk Cox, it is signed on the inside.

There is a lovely prize for those who enjoy a glass of wine as they relax....the goblets in this prize have been hand turned by James' grandfather...the craftmanship is amazing in these.

There are also some hand made quilts that are perfect for those cold winter nights to wrap over your legs whilst watching a movie or scrapping away the night.

As well as this fabulous prizes there is a hand crafted garden bench that is in the process of being built, vouchers for a hairdresser plus others that I am struggling to remember at the moment.
