I mean serisouly where was my head at when I choose to give my brain a work out for the rest of the academic year? Classical Studies - the study of Ancient Greece & Ancient Rome....sure I loved History at school...awesome can do this. Maybe someone forgot to pass me the memo that Uni History is far more complex then bloody high school's version! One lecture is all I have had so far...2 hours....I now have a lsit of assignments up the whaazooo as well as more reading then I am sure I have done all year.... Dont get me started on my next subject! Social Enquiry...the study of Sociolgy..studying the Human Condition. Sure I love peopel watching & trying to understand why society functions the way it does..... one lecture in...3 hours...MORE READING TO DO THAN I HAVE DONE EVER!!!!!! Interesting topic matter & I am sure I will love it all...but sheeesh!!! Could I have caused myself anymore stress right about now?
On the other side of the University coin is the people I meeting. I have met one lady who I met through facebook funnily enough....we are in Classical Studies together along with about 60 other people. It really is it's own little universe on campus. I can see Gloria Jeans is going to be my best friend while I am there....if I am not driven to the Bar On the Hill!!
No scrapping to share....I have not done any at all this week...I have been reading!!! I have also started to venture back into the world of the scrapping forums. Small steps to take myself out of hibernation. Though I have been venturing more often then not back in Second Life. I have found that to be my place to go to chill out & unwind. Something about building my own house has soothed me this week.
Oh I got my hair chopped & coloured on Monday....it is now blac underneath, honey coloured mid way up the back & then red on top with some honey foils to break it up. Needed a change!

hey there Tez..i take my hate off to you, there is no way I could go back to studying, it does my head in doing my paperwork and the kids homework let alone my own :0.... hope to catch up soon, check out my blog see if you can make a class and come and catch up, if not, just come for coffee!!!
