Yep..that means the end of my working week!!! I worked today & came home with a rotten headache. I crawled into bed for an hour with some migraine tablets...thanks heavens the headache has gone away.
Embellished Idol Voting for Round 1 came in today. Lali was lovely enough to text me at work to let me know I got through to Round 2 YAY! I was so darn nervous thinking of it all day at work. My LO for Round 2 is already done...I am happy with it as it came to me pretty quickly. Once i knew the criteria it all fell into place, colour scheme & all. This LO is about my MIL's Mum...Lyla Rose. This is her wedding day & the lady in the picture is her sister Valma Eileen. I was ever so lucky that my MIL let me have these pictures when we were there on Monday. The ever lovely Tascha at Harvey Norman's restored them for me & I now have them on disk. Because this challenge was a monchromatic one, I have stayed in the warmer browns through to gold hues. It really suited the photo & with Valma's bouquet being such a deep burgundy colour, it really didn't need to have that colour in the LO. I am happy with this & it will go into the album for my MIL's upcoming birthday.
Not much else to add tonight....oh other then the monthly Cybercrop over at Crafting In Style is on...so rock on over & see what Jolene & the girls have up their sleeves!
Well I am off to see what other projects I can get done for the night.
