Jimmy Is Now 18!

Yes a very scary thought & concept! look out world, my boy has come of age & is ready to take on all life has to offer LOL! I should have posted earlier in the week but frankly, I just didnt get around to it. I have been busy with other things going on that blogging has not been high on the priority list.

Yes I have photos -- when do I not? LOL We took Jimmy out for a birthday dinner with our little family & 25 others...lord help us! It was a fun night...tonnes of laughter, well behaved young adults & tonnes more laughter. The only thing that was missing was a photo of Jimmy & I together, but this happens when you are the one taking the photos & nobody thinks to say 'Hey how about I take a photo of you with your son!' Dont get me started!!

I can not praise these guys enough...they were outstanding in behaviour! Not once was I embarrassed, ashamed or humiliated. I laughed as much as they did & boy did we all have a blast. Ate loads, drank moderately (no alcohol while out as Jimmy was not 'officially' 18 til the next day) and laughed loads!

Not much else has been going on really...I am doing all my final preparations to fly out in 6 days -- yep that is right..VACATION HERE I COME!!!! I am pretty sure I have everything I will need...I just need to load it all into my suitcase & hope like crazy it all fits & is under the weight requirements LMAO...maybe not take as many shoes ?!?!?! I have been sending myself a little crazy with the panicking over little details...like flights, connections, loading up of the travelex card (visa debit card for travelling) making sure my itinerary is set, etc. Someone has been giggling at me loads as they have watched me get organised...shaking their head and laughing with me. All I will say to that person is this : BRING ON VACATION BABY!!!

So my next post here will not be for a couple of weeks...I wont post while away even though the laptop is travelling with me....it is more with me to load photos onto after each day.
