Photos From Salem MA

I apologise for the delay -- life has been hectic here with me attempting to pack to move to Sydney next weekend..next week is going to be tough to go & say goodbye to people.

Anyway photos:
The Witch Dungeon Museum was the first place we went too...was rather interesting to watch the reinactment of an actual trial taken from the original transcripts...seriously though those young girls all needed a slap LOL.... There was also an original beam from the gaol that was unearthed in the 1950's...the women were told they could touch it..men could at their own peril lol. Yes Kass I touched it!
Judge Corwin's House..we didn't take ourselves in for a self guided tour because it was $8.25 each. Beautiful town though...stunning buildings everywhere you looked.
40 Whacks Museum - a museum dedicated to the Lizzie Borden Story.
The Witch History Museum -- this place was fascinating...though the guide left a lot to be desired...his voice was grating on my nerves BEFORE we even left the ampitheatre! It was really just a rehash of the stuff we had heard over at the Gaol. There was this really cool life sized Wizard statue in the History Museum (what it has to do with it all I dont knwo but anyway)
The visitors Information Centre was once the Salem Armoury...that was an interesting piece of information to come by.
There are a heap of other photos I am trying to upload but blogger is being nasty & not playing nice...so I wil upload more over the next few days.

On another note: I leave for Sydney on the 11th July -- Bek,Shrimpy & I are moving to my parents placefor the interim while I look for my own house down in Campbelltown. This is not an easy decision that I have made as Bek & Shrimpy have their lives here in Maitland, that said Shrimpy needs to be closer to Westmead especially once we get down to transplant time. I will be closer to my parents, Kassandrah & Lynne ...the people who are my support network. There are people I know I will catch up with once I am there but I will desperately miss the friends I have made here in the Valley -- more to the point the girls I have become friends with through scrapbooking. Each & every one of you have made my life that much brighter here even though you may not have been aware of it. There were days that were extremely bleak & you all pulled me through. I would love to catch up with everyone before I leave but it is not feasible nor possible...but if anyone is able to meet up for a coffee next week...call me!!!

Loves n Hugs
