I have been MIA lately I know....lots going on. Rebekkah, Shrimpy aka Justin & I moved to Sydney on the 11th July 2009. We have moved to my parents house while I look for a home for the 3 of us. That in itself is a difficult task as there are not a great many houses in my price range but lots of people wanting them too *sigh* So I keep on looking -- keep on hoping that something will be mine so I can begin the new chapter & the kids can settle into a routine of just the 3 of us. My parents have been a great support & are helping in ways I had never even dared dream of...but it is hard to move home after leaving 20 years earlier lol. We all have our own ways of doing things & they dont always match...oh well just keep on keeping on.
Things between Eric & I are as wonderful as always. He is flying out here in October & I seriously can not wait! The days are hard without him & the nights even harder....but we both try to keep the other strong so that we can get through the seperation...long distance is hard to do & we are managing pretty darn well I think. We have support from some amazing friends & family members who bolster us both on our down days.
Speaking of Eric -- he was in an accident just on two weeks ago now. He was knocked off the HD while he was stationary waiting to turn to the right -- silly woman (i am being polite here) cut the corner and collected his left leg. Now imagine this: 4am it is dark -- your phone rings -- you answer knowing who it is. This is the conversation you hear ' Hi baby, I love you. Sorry to wake you but I wanted to let you knwo I was in a bike accident..I AM OK..on the way to the ER now' All I could manage was an 'I love you -- OMG are you ok? I love you' I spent the next 3 hours stressing & crying...Yes he could call me...yes I spoke to him BUT I had no clue as to injuries & all I could think of was how can I get there? The HD was fine -- some minor damages really...Eric sustained a chipped Tibia on his left leg, severe spraining & a lot of aches & pains. I can only sit & watch via webcam & that is about it.
The accident was a wake up call as to just how fleeting life can be -- a few inches to the right & he would have been well I dont like to think of that part...the main thing is he is safe, alive & still him.
Other then these things not much else has been going on in my life -- I figure that is more then enough. I moved to Sydney -- I ache desperately for Eric -- I am house hunting...that is enough.
No scrapping has been done due to everything being packed away still in Maitland at the ex's house.
Blog ya later.
