That is right -- it is that time of year again when we all pause to thank our dad's for being the great men that they are. I know I am extremely thankful for my dad...he is an amazing man with such a huge heart. This year has been a tough one for a variety of reasons as you would all be aware if you had been following previous entries...my dad and mum for that matter have been a HUGE source of strength & support for not jsut myself but for Bek & Shrimpy as well. My dad is not a man on many words (like most men of that generation) but every word counts & his actions speak louder then those words ever could. I am cooking dinner at my place tonight for my dad for Fathers Day...a small token to tell him just hw much I love him & how thankful I am for all he has done for us & continues to do. I love you dad...and I can not thank you enough for all you have done for me in my life.
Ok tissues aside...I haven't scrapped this weekend...been busy doing things around our little home...I even put up curtains yesterday *thanks to mum & dad buying the curtain rods* The three of us have settled nicely into our own home here, with our own routine...its nice to just breathe these days...not walk on eggshells or worry who may be listening in on conversations. Bek & Shrimpy both talk to Eric on webcam...all of us laughing & mucking around..its kinda cosy when the 4 of us goof off....will be great when he is here in 38 days time....I CANT WAIT!!
I am hoping to try to get some photos taken today at some point...I really want some nice shots of my parents with the kidlets...would be nice..now to get them all to agree & co-operate lol. I am thinking later in the afternoon when the light is warmer...I love sunset time for photos.
On that note I better get a move on -- housework to finish and kids to wake up lol.
