Life Goes Round And Round.....

And nobody knows where it will stop. There is alot happening atm particularly in my head -- yes it does echo LOL

James aka Jimmy is 18 at the end of the month. It has made me pause to reflect on my time as a mother. Did you know that this year I have been a mother for over half my life? Talk about giving me pause for thought! My baby is becoming of age in less then 2 weeks -- scary! I still remember the trip home from the hospital with him all those years ago. To see him becoming a man has been an interesting journey. In the last year he has grown & changed, fallen in love for the first time & I have watched that soften him considerably. Nat brings him peace...she soothes him in ways nobody else can....I am glad he found that so early in life, makes life more wonderful to have that one special person to soothe our soul when we need it most. We are taking him out for dinner where there will be 31 people at the restaruant to celebrate the milestone...thank heavens I wont be there alone to control a bunch of 18 year olds. LOL The photos of the kids were taken at Stockade Hill when the kids went for a picnic lunch for Jessica's birthday.

Bek had her best friend's 13th Birthday party this past weekend....they were all treated to a hair style, make over afternoon -- OMG! I barely recognized her when I picked her up. She will break hearts that much is for certain.
What is it with this silly pouty thing they all do? LOL
Typical Bek! *gigglesnort*

There is also another huge occassion coming up -- my trip OVERSEAS! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOT! 23 days until I leave the shores of Australia for 9 bliss filled days. Can you tell I am excited?? Well probably not but you should have seen me when my passport arrived last week...happy dancing all over the place!! I am slowly starting to organise what it is I will be packing to take with me...first thing in my carry on -- CAMERA!!!

Not much else to share -- I am sitting here watching Twilight for like the millionth time with Bek ....yes we are hopeless LOL.

Blog soon

Great photos...I hear you about the hard to believe that your child is 18 already, it was a shock for me too...I have another year to go before I have been a mother for half my life and that is a scary thought :)
